Buy a D-Lock

If you do anything bike-related this week (and, despite the terrible weather, I sincerely hope you do!), please invest in a decent lock. They’re expensive, yes, which is why I bought a foolishly flimsy cable lock, a D-Lock wasn’t in the budget.

Today, my bike was stolen. They cut right through my lock and left it there. It was parked in Lincoln’s Inn Fields (I thought it’d be safe surrounded by legal professionals all day), only from 12-5pm but it only takes a second to cut a lock.

Don’t make the same mistake as me. Rain cycling isn’t lovely. Rain walking is significantly worse.
